The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the effectiveness of Iraqi governmental and private university institutions. Because of its effective performance in accordance with its academic goals and achievements, as the specialists conducted the quality assessment file according to the IRU classification, a comprehensive evaluation of eighty-three governmental and private educational institutions distributed over thirty-six public universities, and forty-seven private universities and colleges (out of 70 universities, colleges and private branches) Eight hundred and seventy-five specialized colleges and one thousand seven hundred and twenty-nine scientific departments, and the evaluation included criteria related to the institutional environment and academic programs. With this high rating, Al-Kut University College ranked fifth in the ranking of private colleges, which is a remarkable progress for it thanks to its board of directors, professors, and staff.
