About the Section

The Department of Arabic Language is one of the departments of Kut University College that was established in 2012 - which now includes nine scientific departments: (Department of Arabic Language, Department of Pathological Analysis, Department of Business Administration, Department of Law, Department of Laser Engineering, Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, and Medicine). Dentistry, pharmacy, and physical education)

Eight courses graduated from this department  for the years 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023.

The Arabic Language Department adopts the semester system in the primary university study curriculum (Bachelor’s) for the Arabic language departments in Iraqi government universities, universities, colleges, and private universities, in accordance with the curriculum of Arab universities.

In the Arabic Language Department for the four stages, the student studies thirty-five subjects distributed between grammar, morphology, literature with its educational and rhetorical divisions, psychology, and human rights, in addition to the English language subject for the four stages, prosody, grammar schools, linguistics, and philology.

The Arabic Language Department is a cornerstone of Kut University College. It includes morning and evening studies and has qualified professors who have teaching experience.

They work on the field of the student’s love for his language, which represents his identity and existence, and pay attention to the first stage, especially because it is the basic building block for any study. If we work to instill a love of the language and a sense of responsibility in them, it will be reflected in their academic career in the academic years.
